Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a device in which alarming speed is able to be adjusted at will, by putting a pulse signal, propertional to r.p.m. of a drive shaft, into a comparator, to which adjustable reference voltage is put in, through a frequency-voltage converter.
CONSTITUTION: A speed detector 1 is composed by fixing a magnetic pickup 1a on a chassis B in the location close to a magnet 1b mounted on a drive shaft S of an automobile. An output from this speed detector 1 is passed through an amplifier 2 and a frequency-voltage converter 3 and put into a comparator 6 which receives input of voltage from an adjustable voltage devider connected to a reference voltage generator 4. When an automobile is travelling at a speed exceeding a limited speed, a voltage exceeding a set voltage Vr of the voltage divider 5 is put into the comparator 6 from the frequency-voltage converter 3, and by an output of this comparator 6, an indication is made on an alarm indicator 8 through an indication driving unit 7.
