Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively protect a motor by operating a motor opening and closing device with a comparator receiving a drive signal having a resetting function via a counter and a start signal having a resetting function via a time limit setting unit. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 8 is started, a time limit setting unit 5 starts counting of time in accordance with a start signal from a start signal generator 4. On the other hand, a counter 2 receives a detection signal from a drive signal unit 1 and starts counting. The time delay of both the signals is compared by a comparator 3 receiving signals from the unit 5 and the counter 2, and when the signal from the counter 2 is arrived faster than or simultaneously upon the signal of the unit 5, the comparator 3 does not produce an output and allows the continuous rotation. When the signal of the counter 2 reaches, on the other hand, later, a motor opening and closing device 6 opens in accordance with the output of the comparator 3, thereby stopping the motor 8. The counter 2 and the unit 5 have self-resetting function.
