Abstract
PURPOSE: To arrange so that a smooth switchover of a regenerative brake force and a pneumatic brake force may be accomplished, by starting operation of the pneumatic brake and at the same time, starting shutting off a regenerative brake current when the final step of a regenerative brake has been reached.
CONSTITUTION: When the final step number SL of a regenerative brake has been reached, a matching signal 14a is issued to close a gate for AND1 circuit through the intermediary of NOT1 circuit, thus stopping an advance to the further steps and closing a gate for AND2 circuit. As a result, no input into a "close" dispatcher 16, causing a pneumatic brake closing device 17 to cease its function and in turn, a pneumatic brake to start operating. In addition, this matching signal 14a is input to a field contraction dispatcher 18, so that a field contraction command 18a is given to an exciter 8, reducing an electromotive force on a drive motor and starting shutting off a regenerative brake current IM. In this manner, a smooth switchover of a regenerative brake force and a pneumatic brake force is accomplished.
