Abstract
PURPOSE:To narrow a set range of low load region requiring plasma ignition, by controlling the plasma ignition by both outputs of a circuit for detecting the engine load condition and a circuit for detecting from the signal detected in the former circuit the change of the load condition. CONSTITUTION:A load detecting circuit 20 for detecting the load condition from the amount of intake air, throttle opening, intake negative pressure, etc., a transient detecting circuit 60 to which the value detected by the circuit 20 is inputted and which outputs a signal delayed in accordance with the change of said value, a signal processing circuit 30 for operating the outputs to perform buffer action, and a comparator 40 for comparing the signal with a reference value to output a command signal for increasing or decreasing the plasma ignition energy are provided. They are formed to act in accordance with the opening of a throttle 22. Thus, as a set range of the low load region can be narrowed, consumption of the battery can be reduced, and stabilized running performancy can be obtained.
