Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve an exhaust gas cleaning device in durability by forming the high-temperature corrosion-resisting layer coating the outer surface of the inner shell and the protecting layer between said layer and a thermally insulating layer by using SiO2 and Na2O with weight ratio of 4-6 and 1.5-3.5 respectively. CONSTITUTION:The inner shell 1 forming an exhaust gas cleaning chamber 2 and the outer shell 5 surrounding the outside of said inner shell 1 through a thermally insulating layer 6 are provided. The outer surface of the inner shell 1 is coated with a high-temperature corrosion-resisting layer 9 containing SiO2 and Na2O with a weight ratio of 4-6 and having a film thickness of more than 10mu. Between said high-temperature corrosion-resisting layer 9 and thermally insulating layer 6, a protecting layer 10 is provided containing SiO2 and Na2O with a weight ratio of 1.5- 3.5. Said constitution permits improvement in resistance to halogen corrosion under a high temperature.
