Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the reduction of the intake negative pressure of the downstream of a throttle valve due to an inflow of reflux exhaust when trouble by connecting a branch intake passage, an intake passage at the stoppage side of cylinders and an exhaust reflux passage by a three-way cock.
CONSTITUTION: A branch intake passage 23 branched from an intake passage 3 at the working side, an intake passage 5 at the stoppage side to cylinders #4W#6 and an exhaust reflux passage 9 to an exhaust passage 8 at the stoppage side are connected in a T-shape, and a three-way cock 24 is mounted on way of the T- shaped connecting section 12. The change-over of the three-way cock 24 is controlled by means of a cylinder number control circuit 2 through a diaphragm device 11, a three-way solenoid valve 14 selectively introducing the negative pressure of a vacuum tank 13 and atmospheric pressure into the diaphragm device 11, and a drive circuit 16 driving the valve 14. Even when there happens trouble in these control systems, the reduction of intake negative pressure can be prevented decause the exhaust reflux passage 9 and the branch intake passage 23 are not communicated at the same time.
