Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to detect leakage and the leaking part at an early stage, by liquid-tightly surrounding the circumference of the small cooling pipe located at the steam side of the steam condenser, and also providing a seal chamber to which seal water is supplied, a water level indicator, a pressure indicator, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The cooling pipe 8, the pressure balance hole 11 punched on the cooling pipe 8, and the seal chamber 12 which liquid-tightly surrounds the small cooling pipe in the longitudinal direction so as to surround the balance hole 11 are provided in the steam condensing chamber 5 forming the steam side in the body shell 2. Also, the water gauge 14 is provided on the same height as said seal chamber 12, and on the other hand, the pressure gauge 15 is connected to the air vent pipe line 18 provided at the upper part of the seal chamber 12. In this case by providing with the seal chamber 12, the water gauge 14 and the pressure gauge 15 on both the water gauge 14 and the pressure gauge 15 on both the right and left sides of the steam condensing chamber 5, leakage can be inspected satisfactorily.
