Abstract
PURPOSE: To obviate remaining of air bubbles in pressure transmitting sealing liquid and make possible highly accurate measurement by providing an air bubble removing tank mounted to sealing piping and a vacuum pump connected thereto.
CONSTITUTION: Two sealing ports 12 through which sealing liquid 14 is sealed are provided to the main body 12 of a liquid sealing type diaphragm pressure gauge 2, one of the former being connected to the air bubble removing tank 18 connected to a vacuum pump 19 and the other being connected to the air bubble removing tank 18 through a pump 17 thereby forming a loop. As a result, if the sealing liquid 14 is circulated in the loop by operating the pump 17 when the sealing liquid 14 has been sealed in the pressure gauge 2, the air bubbles remained in the sealing liquid 14 are drawn and removed from the free liquid level of the air bubble removing tank 18 by the vacuum pump 19 and therefore the air bubbles will not appear as errors to the pressure gauge output and highly accurate measurement may be performed.
