Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform the inspection of leakage with high efficiency and accuracy by a method wherein either one of a water suction port and a heated-water supply port, both of which have openings in a bathtub of two water circulation pipes connecting the main body of the bathtub with the heat exchanger of a bath heater is sealed closely, the pressurized air is injected from the other port, and a certain time later, the lowering of the pressure is detected.
CONSTITUTION: Either one of a water suction pipe 6 and a heated-water supply pipe 7 connecting the main body 1 of the bathtub with the heat exchanger 5 of the bath heater 4, for instance, the water suction pipe 6 is blocked up closely with a rubber stopper for blockade and the air is pressurized and injected by an air-supply apparatus of double jointed-sphere type through the heated-water supply pipe 7.
