CONSTITUTION: Solenoid valves 27a and 27b for measuring are opened. The expanded part 5 of a heat transferring tube 4 as a detected part 25, a chamber 19 for detection and a balance tank 26 are respectively evacuated by a vacuum pump 33, a differential valve 28 to set a detecting pressure is set, and then the solenoid valves 27a and 27b for measuring are closed and a differential pressure sensor 29 is operated, after the pressure of a detected part 25 and a balance tank 26 are reduced, up to a vacuum condition. The differential pressure between the detected part 25 and a balance tank 26 is measured by a differential pressure sensor 29, and the result is digitally indicated by an indicator 31. If there is a leakage from a detected part 25, the differential pressure between a detected part 25 and a balance tank 26 becomes high.
