Abstract

PURPOSE: To control fluctuation in speed of a power generator to be small by providing a heator to heat high-pressure air from a compressor by a part of power provided by the generator when no load is applied.
CONSTITUTION: High-pressure air (b) which is compresed at a compressor 1 is combusted together with fuel at a combustion chamber 2 of a two-shaft gas turbine generator, and high-temperature combustion gas (c) is supplied to a compressor turbine 3 and an output turbine 4 to drive the generator 6. Generated power from the generator 6 is applied to a load 7. A load detecting device 11 to decide the magnitude of the load 7, a heater (an electric heater) 10 to heat high-pressure gas (b) from the compressor, and a switch 12 to control supply of power to the heater 10 from the power generator 6 are provided here so that the switch 12 is turned on to supply electricity to the heater 10 only when the load is light.
