Abstract

PURPOSE: To control DC motors without greatly exceeding the withstanding capacity for the overloads by providing a differential current detector in the armature circuits of the DC motors which are operated in parallel, and decreasing the armature limiting values in proportion to the output of said detector.
CONSTITUTION: The DC motors 10 and 11 which are operated in parallel are connected in parallel with the output circuit of a rectifier 9. To the rectifier 9, is supplied the AC which is generated by a dieselengine driven AC generator 3. The output current of the generator 3 is detected by ACCT29 and the output voltage of the generator 3 is detected by DCPT30. A field regulator amplifier 28 controls the electric generation of the generator 3 based on both detected values. While the differential current detector 31 is provided for detecting the unbalance of the loads of the motors 10 and 11, and the amplifier 28 generates the field control output so as to decrease the armature limiting values of the DC motors in proportion to the output of said detector.
