Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the condensation efficiency of solvent vapor and to miniaturize a collector by heating and cooling a solvent-vapor-adsorptive endless belt and then collecting solvent vapor in contact with the belt.
CONSTITUTION: Over housing 8 of a fixing device, solvent-vapor processing part 9 is provided and inside of it, adsorptive material belt 15 made of carbon fiber, etc., is fitted. Belt 15 is fitted with cooling thermoelectric cooling element 17 and heating heater 18. In this constitution, the external air comes into contact with transfer paper P heated at 30°C through air heating flow passage 8b to evaporate the residual solvent, which contacts with belt 15 cooled by element 17 through flow passage 13 to dew, so that the air will be exhausted out of the device. On the other hand, belt 15 having the dewed solvent is heated by heater 18 and the solvent is discharged via flow passage 14. The solvent of high concentration is condensed by a prescribed condensation device. Thus, the efficiency of the condensation and collection is improved and the device is miniaturized.
