Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform fixing of high temperature and good thermal efficiency in the absence of contact by the constitution comprising leading the discharged air flow into a fan by the blast guide path enclosing heating elements and having a discharge port and the recovery circuit provided with a suction port on the outer side near the discharge outlet.
CONSTITUTION: Paper 6 formed with toner images is fixed by passing below a fixing device 10. The fixing device 10 has heating elements 11 and a fan 12 and the wind blown by the fan 12 is heated by heating elements 11 and is blown to the paper 6 through the discharge port of a blast guide path 13, by which the toner is heated and fixing accomplished. Since a recovery circuit 14 is provided on the outer side near the discharge port, the hot air out from the discharge part is again led to the blower 12 from the recovery circuit 14 and is utilized and therefore the fixing of good thermal efficiency may be accomplished in the absence of contact.
