Abstract

PURPOSE:To convert effectively the velocity energy of air sucked by the fan by constructing a diffuser of an outlet bell-mouth and an outlet flow guide. CONSTITUTION:The air within the room passes through the annular air diffuser formed by the outlet bell-mouth 8 and the flow guide 9 of the fan via a fan guard 3a attached to a casing of the convector, an inlet bell-mouth 7 and an air sucking port 7a. In this case, the velocity energy of the air is gradually converted into the pressure energy thereof during the passage of the air through the diffuser and the flow direction of the air is gradually changed by the flow guide 9 to thereby reduce the loss of its energy. The air then passes through a fin type heat exchanger 10 to exchange heat with hot water circulating through the heat exchanger so that it becomes hot air and is blown out into the room from a blow-out port 19 after it is dehumidified by a heater 15.
