Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of dewing by forming the shape of guide members to discontinuous planes and opening a portion between transfer paper and guide members. CONSTITUTION:The copying paper having undergone heat-fixing processing with the heating and pressure contact rollers 2000, 2001 of a heat fixing device 22 and having been separated from the rollers 2000, 2001 by separating pawls 2006... are guided by the protruding arms 2008 thru 2015 of the shape assuming discontinuous planes of a guide device 2007 and is discharged from the device 22. The moisture vapor contained in the copying paper and evaporating by being heated at the fixing processing is exhausted through the open parts of the discontinuous planes of these arms 2008 thru 2015, whereby the occurence of dewing on the surface of the arms 2008 thru 2015 is obviated and the occurrence of inconveniences such as crease, etc. of the copying paper is prevented.
