Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus which is superior in terms of both energy saving and operating characteristic by forming the same into the construction which has no laborious operations of opening and closing the suction port side door and exhaust port side door of the containing part at all and does not require intermission of heaters.
CONSTITUTION: A blower 36 for adsorption is operated to suck air for adsorption into a prechamber 45 for adsorption, feed the same into the upper half of an adsorbent-packed chamber 21 to ler it contact an adsorbent 24 and further exhaust the same to the outside through a post-chamber 46 for adsorption, whereby an adsorption process is accomplished. On the other hand, the air having been heated to a specified temperature by a heater 40 is circulated in the circulating path constituted by a prechamber 47 for desorption, the adsorbent-packed chamber 21, the post- chamber 48 for desorption and a lead pipe 39, whereby a desorption process is accomplished. At the same time, the steam being generated is led into a condenser 42 to obtain water. Further, the adsorption process and the desorption process are continuously accomplished by half-rotating the adsorbent-packed chamber 21 by driving a motor 33.
