Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain comfortable heating by a mechanism wherein a drain regulating screw is mounted to the bottom of a main body and the humidy of hot air supplied into a chamber is adjusted in a device provided with a countercurrent type heat exchanger which shapes two passages by bending a beltlike thin metallic plate in a double spiral form.
CONSTITUTION: Air sucked from an air intake port of a cover 17 by a motor fan 15 pushes open a shutter 18 and enters into an intermediate drum 13, passes through one 29 of two spiral passages which is formed by bending a beltlike thin metallic plate 12 in a double spiral form, and is heated by exhaust gas flowing through the other spiral passage 20 through the metallic plate (heat transmitting plate) 12. Then the air enters a main body 1 through an air outlet hole 21, is moderately humidified by condensed water at the bottom of the main body and is sent into the room. Exhaust gas is introduced through an exhaust pipe 7 from the heater in the room, moisture is condensed while the exhaust gas flows through the passage 20, the condensed water flows out to the bottom of the main body from a drain hole 24 and is discharged from a hollow hole of a regulating screw 8 for adjusting a water-level of drain.
