Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain air with a desired humidity through the heat exchange of the water before and after spray with humidified air with a water introducing pipe formed zigzag backward of a water sprayer.
CONSTITUTION: The mixture of the residual air obtained after partially discharging, by means of air-flow adjusting dampers 17 and 18, the air sucked by a circulating fan 12 and the atmospheric air from an atmospheric air duct 16 is introduced into an air conditioner 1 and passed through a filter 7. The air humidified by a water sprayer 2 upon humidification is subjected to the heat exchange with a water introducing pipe 3 and supplied to a room through an air cooler 5 upon room cooling or an air heater 6 upon room warming by an air supply fan 11. The rate of water supply to the pipe 3 is detected by a humidity detector 8 and adjusted by a water- rate adjusting valve 9. The temperature of spray water can be equalized to the wet- bulb temperature of the humidified air by making the latter constant using the dampers 17 and 18 and increasing the pipe 3 in surface area despite the change of water temperature at the inlet of the pipe 3.
