Abstract

PURPOSE: To expand the scope of utilization by changing the mixing ratio of combustion gas in the guide above the burner to the high-temperature air around the guide.
CONSTITUTION: A burner 5 is set on a partition plate 2 separating the interior of the device body 1 into two chambers, and a manganese type catalyst unit 7 for removing CO, etc., is provided at the top of a cylindrical guide 6 surrounding the upper part of the burner 5. Disposed above the guide 6 is a hood 9 to which an end of an air passage 10 is connected, the other end of said passage 10 being opened into the atmosphere at 10a. A fan 11 is provided in the air passage 10, and a motor 13 is disposed near the suction port 12. The atmospheric air is sucked in by the fan 14 from the suction port 12, and this air is heated and supplied into the upper chamber from the blow-out ports 3. A suction opening 15 is provided at a part of the air passage 10 close to the guide 6, and the mixing ratio of hot air from the opening 10a to combustion gas is changed by adjusting the opening of the damper 16 in the air passage 10.
