Abstract

PURPOSE: To lower the temperature of exhausted air, and to decrease power consumption, by a method wherein heated air, which is purified by a catalyst and exhausted, and polluted air sucked from an air suction port are heat-exchanged.
CONSTITUTION: Polluted air sucked into an air circulation passage 1 by means of a blast means 2 from an air suction port 10 is heated by means of a heating means 4 and reaches a catalyst 5, and heated air (the white arrow head) purified by means of the catalyst 5 is flowed back to a heat exchanging means 3 and heats the polluted air sucked while its own heat is taken and itself is discharged to a guide portion from a discharge port 11. When an air purifier formed in this way is installed to an automobile, etc., the purifier is housed in a trunk room, and the air suction port 10 and the air discharge port 11 are each opened to the back both sides in a compartment.
