Abstract

The boiler receives combustion air which has already been heated by the boiler and discharged into the building. The air comes from inside the building through inlet passages (3). The passage has a diverter valve (5) which takes away excess air through the passage (3') and discharges it outside. The air going through the boiler is also discharged through the passage (4). Fresh air is brought in from outside through the fan (13) and is circulated around the boiler in the space (7). Regulation is afforded by by-passing the boiler with the passages (9) and the diverter valve (10) which restricts the flow through the boiler.
