CONSTITUTION:A signal circuit of a parametric amplifier comparatively low in the signal frequency is constituted with a coaxial line 1, and consists of added inductance section 3, 1/4 wavelength transformer 4 and input and output 5. Although the added inductance 3 has recesses such as an idler choke 6 and a pump waveguide 8, since the recesses are very small, the equivalent circuit can be considered as a circuit between A-A' and B-B' by taking the circuit as a coaxial line. From this equivalent circuit, the shape or the band to minimize the resistance (r), that is, to minimize the noise temperature can be obtained.
