Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce a cost and to raise productivity, by obtaining a waveguide distributor used for a microwave heating irradiation antenna, by high frequency-coupling an input waveguide to which an oscillator has been connected, and a branch waveguide falling at right angles with said waveguide, by use of a resonance slot. CONSTITUTION:A microwave oscillator 2 is connected to one terminal of an input waveguide 1, and the other terminal is short-cicuited. A branch waveguide 3 is connected to this waveguide 1 by each surface so as to fall at right angles with the wavegude 1, a resonance slot 4 is notched and provided, and is coupled with high frequency. One terminal of each branch waveguide is short-circuited, the other terminal becomes an output terminal, is directed in the same direction, and outputs P1-P5 are obtained. Each resonance slot is positioned so that its lengthwise diretion is in parallel with the lengthwise direction of the waveguide 1, and also is shifted from each tube axis of both the waveguides. In this way, it is unnecessary to provide a pseudo-load, and a slot of same size can be used, therefore, it is possible to obtain a waveguide distributor which is inexpensive and excellent in its productivity.
