Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform continuous melt zinc plating and continuous annealing with easy change-over by installing a controlled cooling zone, a changeover zone from water cooling to heat insulation and a pot that can be changed to a hot dipping bath and a liquid cooling bath, in a strip processing device. CONSTITUTION:A steel plate processing device is formed of a heating zone 1, a controlled cooling zone that serves as a cooling zone for cooling the steel plate 5 to an optimum plating temperature when it is hot dipped in zinc and works as a a heat insulating zone when annealing in manufacturing of high tensile steel plate, a controlled cooling zone 2 provided with an electric heater 17 and a cooling nozzle 18, a change-over zone 3 from water cooling to heat insulation provided with a mist nozzle 4 for water cooling and atmosphere gas feed pipes 9, 10 and keeps an optimum temperature when plating, and performs water cooling when annealing, a snout 6 and a pot 7 that serves as a hot dipping bath at the time of plating and changed to a cooling bath using water etc. when annealing. Thus, the same processing device can be used for hot dipping plating of a steel plate with zinc and for continuous annealing in manufacturing of high tensile steel plate by simple changing.
