Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the voltage regulating reactor strcuture for rectifying a large current in capacity by dividing winding into two segments, passing a core through the winding, then connecting the respective one ends to rectifying units to obtain substantially two turns of windings and simplify the configuration of the windings. CONSTITUTION:A reactor 8 consists of a ringlike core 9, and conductors 10-1, 10-2 made of copper wires passed through the core 9. An electric current flows from an AC power supply (not shown) through the conductors 10-1, the rectifying unit 4 and the conductor 10-2 to a load (not shown). In this manner, two turns of windings can be substantially obtained, and the shape of the winding is simplified so as to simplify the voltage regulating reactor structure for rectifying a large current in capacity.
