PURPOSE:To make easy the adjustment of direction of antenna, by providing a filter in which the band width is changed with the input signal level. CONSTITUTION:Three filters 9-11 different from the band width, switches 12, 13 switched in interlocking with them, and an input level detector receiving the output of an amplifier 6 and detecting the input level, are provided between an IF preamplifier 4 and an IF amplifier 6. In filters 9-11, in comparison with the band width of the filter 11 in normal operation, for example, the band for the filter 9 is taken as 1/5 and that of the filter 10 is taken as 1/3. At the start of operation, the filter 9 having the narrowest band is automatically selected, it is received with a low threshold level, and after the direction of antenna is adjusted and transmitted electromagnetic waves are caught, the signal is switched to the filters 10, 11 according to the input level. Thus, the signal can be received to a low input level and the adjustment of direction of antenna can be made easy.
