Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the circuit system from being affected by video signals, by directly picking up an audio IF signal with a narrow band filter from a tuner output and obtaining audio signal through direct detection of this signal. CONSTITUTION:An audio IF signal is picked up with an audio IF filter 14 by a signal inputted to an audio signal system 3 from a tuner 1, and after this signal is amplified at an audio IF amplifying circuit 15, it is in phase detection 18 directly to obtain the audio signal. On the other hand, the output of the amplifying circuit 15 is detected at an AM detection circuit 16, the output is applied to an AGC circuit 17 and the amplifying circuit 15 is in AGC control through the output of a circuit 17. In this case, the detected output of the detection circuit 16 is proportional to the received electric field strength and since the circuit 15 is in AGC control, allowing to obtain the audio IF signal with a constant amplitude independently of the reception electric field strength and video carrier level to audio level ratio (P/S).
