Abstract
PURPOSE: A glass vessel where the decoration layer of an organic ink is formed on the surface by transfer printing and protected with a resin coating film, thus preventing the layer from damaging and peeling off.
CONSTITUTION: A decoration layer is formed on the surface of a glass vessel by the use of transferring sheets with printing layers of organic inks and the resultant layer is protected by forming a film of resin such as styrene-butadiene block copolymer through dipping or spraying process, thus producing a glass vessel with a decoration layer on the surface. This kind of decoration can use quite different colors in comparison with ceramic inks and develop various kind of decoration effects, resulting in the production of glass vessels with remarkably increased display effect.
