(Prior Art) Decorative glass plates include those in which a printed layer is formed directly on the surface of a transparent glass plate by silk screen printing, and those using laminated glass. Examples of laminated glass include:
JP-A-50-65584 discloses a laminated glass interlayer film in which a printed layer is provided by transfer printing on a polyvinyl butyral resin film. According to this technique, it is possible to obtain a decorative glass plate which has a superior design effect and excellent durability compared to a decorative glass plate printed directly on a glass plate, and thus has a high decorative value. However, in order to obtain this decorative glass plate, two glass plates and an interlayer film of polyvinyl butyral resin film are required, resulting in a problem that the price is high.

Another known technique is to laminate a transparent resin film printed on one side to a glass plate using adhesive, but this is insufficient for applications that require semi-permanent durability such as panel materials. It was hot. That is, it has the disadvantage that the adhesive portion may peel off due to changes in environmental temperature and humidity over a long period of time.

The glass plate 11 needs to allow the transfer printing layer 13 to be seen through the glass plate. The thickness of the glass plate 11 is not particularly limited, but in practice, a thickness of 1 to 10 mm is preferably used. Further, it is desirable that the surface of the glass plate 11 be treated with a silane coupling agent before forming the primer layer.

The primer layer 12 is to form a paint resin layer of 1 to 100 μm on the surface of the glass plate 11 so that the transfer printing layer 13 firmly adheres to the glass plate 11, and in the present invention, it is made of polyisocyanate and polyol. A curable polyurethane resin coating obtained from In particular, non-yellowing polyurethane paints using hexamethylene diisocyanate or the like as the polyisocyanate are preferred because they do not yellow even when exposed to light over a long period of time. Also,
For applications such as outdoor walls, polyurethane resins containing resin fluororesin polyols with excellent resistance are preferred.

The transfer printing layer 13 is a layer in which a printed image with an arbitrary pattern or the like is transferred onto the surface of the primer layer 12. This transfer printing layer 13 can be formed by using a transfer sheet printed in advance on a base material such as a polyester film by a gravure printing method, and by thermocompression bonding the printed surface of this sheet to the surface of the primer layer 12.

The cured resin layer 14 is formed to reinforce the transfer printing layer 13 and improve its durability as a decorative glass plate. In particular, in order to make the transfer printed image clear, it is preferable to use a coating that has a concealing property using pigments such as titanium white and carbon black. As the resin for the cured resin layer 14, the polyurethane paint used for the primer layer 12 may be used, but any other curable paint that cures at room temperature or low temperature can also be used. It is. The thickness of the cured resin layer 14 is not particularly limited, but is preferably 5 μm or more.

In addition, decorative patterns can be formed using gravure printing methods, so they have high decorative value, and since this transfer printing is sandwiched and fixed between highly durable hardening resin layers, it has excellent durability and is semi-permanent. It is highly practical as a panel material for indoor and outdoor walls that require extensive use.
