Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive to save energy by driving an electronic control circuit by thermo-electromotive force generated by a thermo-electromotive force generating means which is heated by the flame of a burner. CONSTITUTION:A thermo-electromotive force generating means 9 is composed of a plurality of thermocouples 9-1-9-n connected in series to each other. When the means 9 is heated by the flame of a burner, a thermo-electromotive force e is generated in each of the thermocouples, so that a total of nXe (V) of electromotive force is produced at the output terminal. By this electromotive force, a comparator 6 in a control unit is set into operation. Here, since the temperature of a temperature sensor 1 for detecting the temperature of an article to be controlled is low at first, the resistance of sensor 1 is high (that is, potential B>A). Subsequently, when the potential B becomes equal to or lower than A as the temperature of sensor 1 is raised, output of comparator 6 is switched to LOW-level (through operation of a switch) and current is supplied via a resistance 8 to a buzzer 7, which informs that the temperature of the article to be controlled has become equal to a desired temperature.
