Abstract

PURPOSE: To place water shield walls of fixed width and thickness all the time even when pile of inaccurate verticality is used by a method in which an earth auger used in the construction of a pile-arranged wall for sheathing soil can excavate soil and sand between intermediate pile and antecedent pile ahead of the injection of mortar.
CONSTITUTION: Excavation is made between antecedent piles 10 by using an earth auger 11, and the auger 11 is stopped and then directed its direction in such a way that a jet nozzle 8 and an antecedent cutter 9 are turned toward the left- and right- handed antecedent piles 10. Then, a mortar is conveyed under pressure. In this case, the auger 11 is pulled up without being turned. Also, the mortar 12 is filled into a pit below an auger head 4 from a discharge port 6 under low and high- pressures and also injected toward the antecedent pile from the nozzle 8 at the end of a flight 22. At the same time, the cutter 93 of a forward cutter 9 is projected from the tip of the flight 22 and collides with the side of the antecedent pile, whereby soil and sand between the flight 22 and the antecedent pile 10 are cut and removed by the auger 11 being pulled up. Afterwards, a mortar is injected to construct a water shield wall 12.
