Abstract
PURPOSE: To form a black film on the surface of a steel plate, by applying a DC voltage to the steel plate to perform electrolysis in the aqueous solution with carbon black as main components including the caking agent and the electrolyte before the heat treatment process.
CONSTITUTION: A steel plate or a band steel is soaked into the processing bath including carbon black as main components, glue, gelatin, CMC, water soluble resin, and so on as the caking agent, and nitric acid salt, sulfuric acid salt, chloride, ammonium salt, and so on of a metal as the electrolyte before the heat treatment process of the steel plate or the band steel. Here, the steel plate or the band steel is used as the cathode, and a proper conductor is used as the anode, and a DC voltage is applied across both electrodes. Otherwise, an AC voltage with a DC current superposed is applied across the steel plate or the band steel and the counter electrode. As the result, a uniform black film of good adhesion is formed on the surface of the steel plate or the band steel.
