Abstract

Next, wire 9 is caused to pass through three rollers 13, 14 and 15 of straightening machine 12, and specially, roller 15 is pressed to wire 9 in the direction opposite to the bending habit to straighten wire 9, and wire 9 is directed accurately to the target position from the tip of torch 24. As a result, the wire is straightened with a high reliability, and the welded metal of a good form can be obtained.
