Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent methane accompanied with odor from escaping into air and prevent unfermented sewage from being exhausted from the exhaust pipe, by constituting the methane generator so that methane may escape to the drain pipe with trap by the escape valve when an allowable quantity or more of methane is collected in the methane tank.
CONSTITUTION: In the methane generator, since methane 11 is emitted to drain pipe 5 through escape valve 12 when gas pressure in floating tank 2 becomes a fixed value or more, methane 11 and unfermented sewage 9 can be prevented from flowing out from floating tank 2. Consequently, methane 11 is taken out from methane taking-out pipe 6 and is used, and methane 11 generated from sewage 9 can be used again when pressure of floating tank 2 is lowered. Methane 11 discharged from escape valve 12 is exhausted into drain pipe 5 at the opposite side of methane fermenting tank 1 and has odor cut off by trap 15, and therefore, odor is not generated near tank 1.
