Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize the action of an I<2>L gate by dividing a gate section in IC of master slice system employing the I<2>L into a plurality of blocks, one for high speed action and the other for low speed action, in such a manner that a larger current is fed into the high speed block than that into the low speed block. CONSTITUTION:Bonding pads 20 for injectors and bonding pads 21 for signals are provided about a chip substrate 19 and I<2>L gate sections 22 are formed within the substrate 19 surrounded thereby whereby an IC is constructed. In such an arrangement, the gate section 22 is devided into blocks 22a-22n in the number of n to which corresponding pads 20a-20n are connected to provide them with an inject current using Al wirings 23a-23n. In this manner, a larger current is fed to those of the block 22a-22n for high speed action while a small current to those for low speed action separately thereby reducing current consumed through stable action.
