Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a quick fire transfer into a shelter at ignition in the combustion safety device having a combustion sensor for a stove gas burner and the like by providing a fire transfer space within the shelter in which the sensor is arranged and opposed to a flame hole surface of the burner. CONSTITUTION:The gas burner 1 has the shelter 4 for arranging the sensor 2 made of zirconium oxide and the like and detecting an oxygen concentration difference occurring in the vicinity of the flame hole surface in a position opposite to the flame hole surface by means of a container 3. In this case, the shelter 4 is arranged to define a space near the falme hole surface of the burner 1 so that at the burner ignition, the fire can be transferred quickly into the shelter 4. Thus the sensor 2 surrounded by the shelter 4 can prevent any misoperation and detect any incomplate combustion of the burner 1.
