Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent damage of a circuit components by providing a control circuit for supplying a pulsating voltage from the minimum value or its vicinity of the pulsating voltage to an inverter circuit when starting the inverter circuit and suppressing the abnormal voltage to low value. CONSTITUTION:An electric power from a DC power source 11 is supplied through an inductor 17 and an inverter circuit 20 to a load 21. In order to prevent a high voltage from being applied to transistors 18, 19 at starting time, a control circuit 35 having thyristors 36 or the like is connected between the inverter circuit 20 and the power source 11. When the pulsating voltage is high at starting time, a zener diode 41 is conducted to cause the transistor 30 to become on, and the thyristor 36 is not accordingly conducted. When the pulsating voltage is lowered to cause it to become higher than predetermined value, the zener diode 41 is turned off and the transistor 40 is broken, and the thyristor 36 is accordingly conducted by an on signal from a time constant circuit 37.
