Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a color ceramic and color frit composition which is suitable for glazing to automobile window pane and also less in the lowering of strength than the conventional ones and which consists of a heat-resistant color pigment powder and a low-melting glass powder containing specific components, e.g., PbO, SiO2 etc.
CONSTITUTION: The color ceramic and color frit composition consists of a well- known heat-resistant color pigment powder, e,g., MnO2, CaO, etc., and a low- melting glass powder containing 40W60wt% PbO, 10W50wt% SiO2, 0.5W10wt% Al2O3, 0.5W9wt% ZnO, 7W25wt% ZnO, 0W5wt% Na2O+K2O+Li2O, 0W5wt% MgO+CaO+BaO, and 0W3wt% TiO2+SnO2. The composition is almost free of the lowering of strength as compared with the conventional ones.
