Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to pick up the image of a moving object with a high sensitivity, by reading continuously one-frame image information, which is picked up for every flash dependent upon a lamp, after storing it. CONSTITUTION:Flash lamp 1 illuminates object 5 through optical system 4 at a prescribed timing, and the image of object 5 is detected through focusing optical system 7 by image pickup element 8, and one-frame image information is supplied to memory circuit 11. Stored one-frame image information is converted to a prescribed-mode signal by TV signal converting circuit 12 and is read out continuously before next frame image information is stored.
