Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The heat conductive plate surface of the plate type heat exchanger is formed into a corrugation 13 having banks 11 with a trapezoid in cross section and grooves 12 alternately. The width of the grooves 12 is wider than that of the banks 11, and each groove 12 includes a plurality of annuler projections 14. Thus the strength in a direction perpendicular to the corrugation is enhanced and in addition the pressure loss of the plate can be reduced.
