Abstract

Each radiator is made up of two plates (11,12). Each plate has parallel corrugations (13) lined up with each other to form parallel water passages. The passages open up at each end into a header (14) which is perpendicular to the passages. The plates are welded around the edges (17) and (12). The plates are in contact at the sections (15) in between the water passages and are spot welded (16) along these surfaces. There are apertures (14b) in the conduits (14) in the same plane as the face of the radiator and on the same side, to which the water passages are attached.
