Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable measurement of torque having high accuracy by a mechanism wherein the fluctuation of field magnetic flux is drawn out on the basis of armature currents, and an arithmetic circuit is formed which corrects the false operation of measured torque being accompanied by the fluctuation of the field magnetic flux being drawn out.
CONSTITUTION: Armature currents I are detected by means of a current detector 8, a function f(I) is generated from a function generating circuit 9 by the detection, and the function f(I) is added to an arithmetic circuit 12 with output from a circuit 10 generating output corresponding to a constant of proportion AO and a circuit 11 generating output corresponding to mechanical loss and the torque of eddy current loss. The arithmetic circuit 12 draws torque [T=AO.I.f(I)-TM where AO is a constant containing fixed number of field magnetic flux, and TM is a mechanical loss and eddy current loss torque] by these signals. Torque having high accuracy is obtained from output from the arithmetic circuit 12 because output f(I) from the function generating circuit 9 compensates the decrease of the field magnetic flux due to the effects of the armature currents.
