Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an ink-jet head which is capable of high-speed response, excellent in handling and inexpensive by a method wherein a piezoelectric element, a vibrating plate and a substrate are laminated and a pressure chamber, an ink- jetting passage and ink-feeding passages are arranged in a specified constitution and formed monolithically with a synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:The corrosion resistant substrate 1 provided with the feeding passage 5 and a nozzle 3 opposed to each other and both communicated to the pressure chamber 2, the vibrating plate 7 and the piezoelectric element 8 are joined by heat- sealing, solvent bonding or the like. Since the nozzle 3, feeding passages 4 and 5, etc. are formed nomolithically of a synthetic resin on the substrate 1, processing of parts, as well as the assembling thereof, is facilitated. In addition, the feeding of ink is performed from both feeding passages 5 and 4 and thereby the printing responsiveness can be increased.
