Abstract
PURPOSE:To make injection of ink sure and improve ink injecting characteristics by a method wherein ink feeding grooves connecting piezoelectric elements and a common ink layer are arranged in multiple layers in a drop-on-demand type multi nozzle print head. CONSTITUTION:The ink feeding grooves 2 connecting the piezoelectric elements 3 and the common ink layer 1 are arranged by laminating either single plates formed with the grooves 2 on both surfaces thereof respectively or more than two sheets of plates formed with the same. As a result, since it becomes not necessary to arrange a multitude of ink feeding grooves 2 on one sheet of plate, the width of the ink feeding groove 2 can be made wider and the injection of the ink becomes easier to be effected, at the same time, since the ink feeding groove can be made longer, an influence of the pressure in the piezoelectric element 3 to the stream of the ink in the other nozzle through the ink feeding groove 2 and the common ink chamber 1 is reduced when the piezoelectric element 3 is contracted.
