Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure a temperature control through which an object can be cooled down in a quick and effective way, by jetting the mist to the specified area of the object and then utilizing the latent heat which is generated through the evaporation of the mist on the surface of the object.
CONSTITUTION: The infrared-ray thermometers 2aW2c are provided at the three parts 1aW1c of the object 1 to be controlled. Both the range and the time of the temperature drop are set to the setter in accordance with the temperature of each thermometer, and then the measurements of the thermomenters 2aW2c are supplied to the computer 5. The computer 5 gives an operation to these inputs to give a control to the open/close of the throttle valves 4aW4c of the jet nozzles 3aW3c respectively. As a result, the mist set under the specified jetting conditions is jetted through each of the nozzles 3aW3c. Thus the temperature of each control part is cooled down effectively and under the expected conditions by the cooling effect of the mist itself obtained through the collision between the mist and the control part plus the evaporated latent heat of liquid phase. With repetition of such cooling action, a more effective control is possible for the cooling process.
