Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate miniaturization while improving manipulation by forming an electrode pattern on a piezoelectric substrate, by providing and hardening an unharmetic insulating material covering the vibration part of the substrate, and then by molding the vibration part in an unhermetic state by applying mechanical force. CONSTITUTION:On both the surfaces of piezoelectric substrate 1, electrode pattern 2 is formed and external lead wire 3 is connected to pattern 2 by conductive adhesives, solder, etc. Next, the whole of piezoelectric substrate 1 is evenly molded with unhermetic insulating material 10, such as silicone rubber, which is elastic and minute and the material is hardened. Next, insulating material 10 on the main vibration part of piezoelectric substrate 1 including operating electrode 11 of pattern 2 is broken away by being applied with external mechanical force F such as tensile force, pressure and torsional force. Insulating material 10 on the main vibration part is placed not in contact with piezoelectric substrate 1 and the final molding is carried out covering the entirety with protective molding material 12 such as insulating resin.
