Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate extraction of coolant liquid when exchanging a built-in unit in the constant-pressure type evaporation cooler by providing a tubular joint on the way between a vapor tube and a liquid return tube to communicate between an evaporator and a condenser forming the cooler and automatically closing the open end when separating it. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor stack 2 is contained in the evaporator 1 while projecting externally a power terminal 3, and the condenser 5 is connected at the inlet side through the vapor tube 4 to the upper side of the evaporator 1. The evaporator 1 is connected at the bottom side through a liquid return tube 9 to the output side of the condenser 5, a series tubes of degassing tube 6 and a communication tube 9 in parallel is provided at the outlet side of the condenser 5, and insufficient coolant liquid is supplied by using a liquid reservoir 7. One-depression separable tubular joints 10 for automatically closing the open end of a tube when separated and for leaking no liquid even if a screw is loosened are connected to the positions in the vicinity of the evaporator 1 of the tube 9 and the tube 4 in the cooler. Thus, when replacing the stack 2, the coolant liquid is not necessary to be extracted.
