Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve cooling and heating capacity by increasing dryness fraction of coolant entering into a gas-liquid separator, caused by cooling of a compressor with compressor oil, by disposing a coolant pipe line, leading from a condenser to the gas-liquid separator, in the refrigerator oil kept in the compressor.
CONSTITUTION: A dryness fraction is increased since a coolant pipe line 9, leading from a condenser 2 to a vapor-liquid separator 4, is disposed in refrigerator oil kept in a compressor 1, and satisfactory cooling of the compressor 1 is realized since an enthalpy reduction accompanied by cooling of exhaust gas from the compressor 1 is compensated by an increase of flow rate through the condenser 2, further the cooling capacity is improved sharply since the enthalpy at the entrance of a evaporator 3 is lowered without varying largely a liquid coolant circulation rate through the evaporator 3 by means of a gas injection, furthermore a heating capacity is improved since the gas quantity separated in the separator 4 is increased as a coolant flow rate corresponding to the increase of the dryness fraction.
