Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve photosensitive plate under simple manufacturing method and at low cost, having outstanding photoelectric sensitizing and nontoxic properties, by using phthalocyanine compound and binder composed of polysiloxane resin containing OH- or alkoxy-radical.
CONSTITUTION: Coating solution is prepared by mixing and dispersing phthalocyanine pigments available in market and the binder which is typically composed of 10W90wt% polysiloxane resin containing -OR radical (R being H, CH3, C2H5, C3H7, or C4H9) and polyurethane resin for the rest, into solvent such as the mixed solvent of butyl acetate and xylene. Said coating solution is then coated over the photocondutive supporter such as aluminum plate which is then dried and then the electrophotographic receptor is completed. The electrophotographic receptor thus accomplished is provided with outstanding surface smoothness, greater charge potential by corona discharge impression, faster damping by light irradiation, and lesser residual potential.
